Olympia Dukakis performs a concert version of her West End and Broadway hit, Rose, the story of a true survivor. Ms. Dukakis shares an unforgettable portrait of an 80-year old Jewish woman, Rose, who comes from a tiny shtetl in the Ukraine. She takes us along on her journey through war-torn Warsaw to the borscht-belts of post-war Atlantic City and modern day Miami Beach. This is not only the story of a feisty survivor, but also a timely reminder of the extraordinary events which have shaped the last century.
